Ballet is a window into our sensitivity, and the Great Falls Ballet Ensemble gives us the ability to celebrate it. Founded in 2011, this new and quickly growing performance company is dedicated to the study and understanding of the Classical Ballet Technique.

Be part of the Great Falls Ballet Ensemble’s 9th Season!
Under Direction of Sarah Dassinger and Music Director Steve Olson, this year will include multiple performances throughout the Great Falls community, including performances with Miss Linda’s School of Dance, The Veteran's Court and also having a showcase featuring their wonderful work. Classes and rehearsals take place Monday evenings. Dancers have a technique class followed by repertory rehearsals where they will learn pieces in traditional character, ballet and pointe. Dancers will also look at the history of ballet, its cultural influences and the ways it has influenced cultures from its inception to modern times.
We are delighted to welcome the new and dynamic leadership of Miss Sarah and Steve Olson to this artistic group. Olson is the orchestra director at CMR, a guest conductor for the Great Falls Youth Orchestra and recently music directed the successful run of The Sound of Music. Olson brings his extensive talents to this Ensemble by conducting live accompaniment for the dancers’ performances.
